After college, Jackson worked at the corporate office of a downtown Sacramento-based Jewlery Company. While assisting as a buyer, she also coordinated the marketing plan for the company's 13 stores including managing direct mailings, a six-figure radio campaign and all logo/branding materials. In 2005, Ashlei opened her own Graphic Design Firm, PAE Designs by Ashlei Ryan Jackson. Her clients range from local Northern California small business owners to several non-profit groups including Sacramento Safari Club. She has been the editor for the MVMA View Magazine for the past four years and her work has received numerous awards for excellence.
In 2010, Ashlei, along with her husband, Adam and parents combined their experience in banking, marketing and sales created Four Hat Innovation, Inc. With five business divisions serving small business needs ranging from website design, social media marketing, branding media and graphic design, Four Hat Innovation, Inc. is growing rapidly and enjoying the ride.
